Rising Light - Sabine Halbrock

A pale grey crust covers the top of the canvas, and below it bands of blue deepen from ice to cobalt around a dark navy block worked in heavy texture. Thin white trails run down through the blue like rain, and a few flecks of gold catch at the lower edge.

Built in acrylic with textured material laid on thick, so the surface carries ridges and cracks that hold the light. Sabine Halbrock works in her studio in Hamburg with acrylic paint and textured materials on canvas. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
