Biba Smith is a London born artist currently living in Hertfordshire. Her style is very much expressionistic with hints of Impressionism and surrealism. Biba is completely self taught, and has painted for most of her life. Rich colour pallets, and indulgent deep colours stand out in most of her work. Her inspiration comes largely from the sky, space, and the connections that we have with these wonders of the universe. Biba largely works with acrylic paints, but also uses oils and, sometimes a mix of both, to create unusual textures. Igniting thought, excitement, emotion, and interpretation is something Biba strives for in every piece she creates.
