Daydream - Fran Rodriguez

A long concrete hall opens in steep perspective, the ceiling rising into darkness where a single white sphere hangs. At the far end a classical marble head sits in an arched niche at the top of a flight of steps, and a red carpet runs the length of the floor. Two lengths of orange cloth drift in the air to either side.

Built as a digital collage, with photographed concrete, sculpture and cloth cut together into one even light. Fran Rodriguez, who works as lacabezaenlasnubes, is a Spanish digital artist known for images of humanity's place in the universe, and has worked with bands including Weezer, Tame Impala and Tycho. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
