Colour Mosaic - Ronald Rumell

Black ink lines run across the whole sheet and break it into hundreds of small facets, each one filled with pink, coral, turquoise, green or yellow. The shapes curve and fan out around a dark eye-like spiral to the right of centre, and nothing in the picture repeats — every cell is its own shape and its own colour.

Drawn in black ink across the whole sheet and filled in with bright washes, so the surface breaks into hundreds of small facets. Ronald Rumell has painted since 2011 and works without planning, letting each picture become whatever it turns into, so that no two are alike. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
