Fishermen on Naivasha. (two) - Gloria Mwivanda

Two fishermen sit low in a narrow canoe on Lake Oloiden at Naivasha, black against water that has turned to gold. Mist lies over the surface and through the acacias along the left shore, and a flat-topped hill stands at the horizon where the sun breaks through. Reeds and low grass islands run across the foreground, and the sky above shades from gold to a cool grey-blue.

Photographed at sunrise against the light, so the boat, the trees and the far shore are left as pure silhouette. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
